High Sheriff's Award for longest serving volunteer

Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service’s longest serving volunteer, Sally, received the High Sheriff’s Award from Brian Welti JP, the new High Sheriff of Shropshire.

Sally, who has dedicated 15 years to SDAS, was presented with this prestigious recognition for unwavering commitment and remarkable service. The craft and music sessions she runs have helped vulnerable families through incredibly difficult times.

She was overwhelmed to receive the recognition she so clearly deserves.

Sally is the first recipient of the volunteer recognition award from Brian Welti JP, marking a special milestone in the history of SDAS. The High Sheriff attended the event to personally thank all the volunteers for their substantial contributions to the service, underscoring the vital role they play in the community.
