What is Domestic Abuse?

Domestic abuse is when a grown-up threatens, bullies or hurts another adult in the family. It can happen to any family. It can be very hard to deal with but remember its never your fault. 

Help and Avice

Kooth is an online counselling and emotional well-being platform for children and young people. You can chat online to a counsellor from Monday to Friday 12noon to 10pm and from Saturday to Sunday 6pm to 10pm. Go to: www.kooth.com 

Safety Plan

You can make your own Safety Plan by writing down:

  • A safe place in your house you can go
  • The name and phone number of someone you can ring
  • A safe place to go outside of your home
  • In an emergency call 999
